The Tooth Book: A Guide to Healthy Teeth and Gums by Edward Miller

This picture book shows that caring for your teeth can be fun! It offers folklore as well as advice on how to maintain those pearly whites. It also has a companion book called, “The Monster Health Book,” which has won awards and received outstanding reviews as well.

Melvin the Magnificent Molar by Julia Cook

This book is a good one for children ages three and up. It is great for teaching kids about their teeth. Melvin is an adorable tooth and the book is written from Melvin’s point of view. He promotes brushing and flossing and trips to the dentist. We are sure your kids will enjoy this one!

Sugarbug Doug: All About Cavities, Plaque, and Teeth by Dr. Ben Magleby

This book is a great read for youngsters as they follow sugarbugs who try to destroy teeth and ruin breath. Kids learn how they can stop them and keep their mouth healthy. This book was written and illustrated by a dentist to help prevent tooth decay in children.

Maisy, Charley and the Wobbly Tooth: A Maisy first Experience book by Lucy Cousins

Everyone loves the Maisy books, and this one is no exception. Maisy’s friend, Charley has a wobbly tooth and needs to go to the dentist. He is a little scared but all of his friends support him by going to the dentist with him and the group makes some fun discoveries while they are there. This is a great book for those that may be getting their first loose tooth.
